3/18/2008: ATTENTION: We are currently
completely booked through April 15th. We are
doing our best to expand the schedule and fit in all
appointments. If you would like to put yourself on a
waiting list, you may do so by going to the
appointment section of this website. Thank you for
your patience.

1/7/2008: We have a new service on our website
that aims to make your life easier! Many of our
clients, especially corporations, have large files,
such as Quickbooks, that they need to send to us.
Often, e-mail programs will not send these large
files, simply because they are too large for the
program to handle. With our new File Sender, you
can upload your files right to our website! Simply
place in some information such as your e-mail
address and a message, then  browse your
computer for the file and upload! You can access
the File Sender by clicking the link on the left, or by
click
here.

1/7/2008: There is an excellent article highlighting
and explaining some of the changes that will occur
to education credits. For example, the modified
adjusted gross income at which the education
deduction starts phasing out was raised from the
$110,000-to-$140,000 range for joint return filers
to the $115,000-to-$145,000 range. This article
can be found by clicking
here.

1/2/2008: There is big news in the tax world this
year, which is rare. A new AMT patch has been
signed into law that affects many filers. This patch
is going to be a benefit to many of our clients who
are affected by AMT. In particular, it will eliminate
some of the AMT on credits such as college
education. While this will prove to be a major
benefit to many clients, it will also cause some
delays in the returns. The new patch makes it
necessary for the IRS to update their systems, and
because of this, some tax returns will not be
processed un til Mid-February. While this is an
inconvenience, the benefits make it well worth the
wait.

1/2/2008: Tax season is almost upon us, so it is
important that you make an appointment with us as
soon as possible. The easiest way to make an
appointment is by utilizing the online appointment
system, which can be accessed by clicking on the
link to the left. You can also, as always, call in to
the office and we can make you an appointment as
well.

1/2/2008: One question that we get asked a lot
during tax season is when the refund will be sent
out. This, obviously, is a very good question and
because it is a good question we decided to create
a link to a table with the exact dates that refunds
are sent out. Check it out by clicking
here!

1/1/2008: Happy New Year! It is now 2008 and
everyone knows what that means! Tax season is
right around the corner!
